Ema

Včera prišiel od nepálskeho priateľa Phurba Šerpu e-mail s fotografiami a informáciou, že v priebehu dvoch mesiacov bude vo výške 4200 metrov na krásnom mieste pod legendárnym Thamserku s jeho trojkilometrovou kolmou stenou a s výhľadom na Everest otvorený nový horský hotel. Ide o novú lokalitu s názvom Kongde. V súčasnosti k hotelu budujú cestu, lebo doteraz všetko vláčili vrtuľníkmi.

To je on. Všetko je to fotografované Phurba Šerpom pred pár dňami. (Pre iris a mňa možno dá izbu s výhľadom na more.)

Jedáleň. Štýl je strohý, šerpský, a preto viac tibetský ako nepálsky.

Niežeby na tom záležalo, teda niežeby na tom nezáležalo - aha, normálne postele. Je to predsa len o kúsok lepšie ako stan, ktorý je dobrý tam, kde posteľ nie je. Kde posteľ je a človek predsa len rozbalí stan, je tak trochu čudák alebo lakomec, alebo aj oboje.

Niežeby na tom záležalo, veď pišať sa dá aj sto metrov od stanu, ale predsa len - kúpeľňa v takej výške - a so sprchou a s teplou (!) vodou ... to sa nedá ignorovať.

Keďže politická situácia v Nepále bola ešte donedávna riskantná, tu je e-mail od Phurba Šerpu nielen o hoteli, ale aj o politike. Text je copy&paste:

"I hope you are in good health ... (atď. atď., zdvorilostný úvod). I just came from Kongde this morning after being for several days there. I was there for the final finishing part of the construction. My wife Kanchi is still there with the other labours for the completion of the work. Some painters from a monastery from Lukla are painging for the dining room and entyrance part of the lobby. Other painters from Kathmandu are painting the rooms, windows and doors. some people are cutting the mud and make flat at the entrance part and putting walls around the hotel. Some carpenters are finishing the second floor. The plumbers are working out for the completion of the bathrooms in second floor. Some people are installing water pipe under ground from the fountain of water which is 600mtr from our hotel. I think, in 2 mohts we will complete the hotel. Next month, we will start making the route to Thame from Kongde.  have attached the file of Kongde hotel and please find it.

The political situation is improving now. the King is completely out of power at the moment. He is fired from the cheif of military. He has to pay tax in his all business and salary now. He has to declare his property to the public now. It is unbeliable, don’t you think so?

The national antham song which was much about the King and Royal family has been cancelled. New national song is being on the process of selection. The currency notes which has photo of King will be removed soon and photo of Lord Buddha will be installed instead. The military cheif now is prime minister, not king. The salary of the royal family has been reduced by 60 %. Only King, Queen, Prince and Princess are counted in Roayl family member now, not other members.
More than this, there will be constitutional assambly soon and this assambly might through Royal family for forever, this is big chance. Maybe they have to run away to some where else I think. This king is very unpopular now and every body hates him adn his family specially the prince. The Maoist are very positive to come to the main political stream. All the Maoist leaders are now freed and participating in political acitivites in Kathmandu.
